“TANGO FOR FUSION DANCERS”

Class 1: Connection Forms the Embrace

In this class we will show how tango connects through opposition and delay. We move through the creation of tension and utilize our fascia system in the release towards relaxation. From the sense of connection you will learn basic directional movements to form the baldosa, a key base figure used in Argentine Tango

Class 2: Pivots and Turns

In this class we will utilize the connection and introduce the concepts of pivots in both the parallel system and cross system and how to control your movements when it comes to turns.

About Your Hosts:

ROBERT

Robert started dancing tango in 2012 where it's transformed his life. Tango became a vehicle of self discovery and self improvement. His notable accomplishments are being a semi finalist in the national competition ATUSA in San Francisco, being an event organizer for over 3 years to Tango Mio, and is the current captain of the Tango Earth Team directed by his teachers and Forever Tango Superstars Carlos Barrionuevo and Mayte Valdez.

PATRICK HAUGEN will be around to check you in and ensure water is filled and assist with any other needs.
