“KINETIC CONNECTIONS: PARTNERING & CHOREOGRAPHY”

Unlock the power of movement in this 3-hour dance adventure, where strength meets fluidity! We’ll begin with a dynamic warm-up to energize your body and awaken your senses. Then, explore the art of partnering, exploring seamless connections and shared balance. Finally, let it all flow into captivating choreography, fusing gravity with grace. Whether you’re a seasoned mover or stepping into new territory, this workshop is all about trust, creativity, and embracing the unknown. Come solo or bring a friend—let’s defy gravity together!

Part 1: “Switching it Up”

We’ll kick off with an invigorating warm-up to activate your body and heighten your awareness. Then, delve into the world of partnering, discovering how to properly weight-share, lift, and move seamlessly with a partner.

Part 2: “Dance Amoeba”

Building on the partnering skills from Part 1, we will integrate them into a group dynamic to emphasize musicality, timing, and personal expression, allowing you to bring the movement to life with confidence and creativity.
