50 Shades of STFU: Business Casual

Produced by Mistress Viola (mistressviola.com), 50 Shades of STFU is a kinky play party and social event for femdoms and femme tops and the individuals who serve and worship them. We have been home at Sanctuary since 2017.

This month we are getting down to business: get out your hot secretary ensembles, your stockings and heels, silk blouse & pencil skirt looks, your stripped-down suits (a tie is just like a collar y’know?), your bow ties, your undies with suspenders, your sock garters — your own unique version of business casual. It’s the office party you always wanted! As always, the themes are just a suggestion, but the DRESS CODE (see below) still applies regardless if you decide to dress to theme.

What happens at this infamous event?

We aim to create an inclusive space for LGBTQ, pansexual, queer, or straight submissives and their femme tops. If you’re a cis male dom this is really not the event for you. However, if you’re switchy and/or abide by the dress code you are welcome to join us!

Tastings run from 8:30 to 9:30 when we break for a performance moment and then there’s another tastings block from 10:30-11:30. Doors at 8pm and spots for tastings do fill quickly; they are first come first serve and very limited. Lately they’ve been filling up in under an hour after doors!

Playspaces, St. Andrews cross, semi-private areas, spanking benches, and hard points are available.

DRESS CODE:

No effort, no entry!

The overall rule here is that men (trans men are men!) are not to be assuming a position of power at this FemDom party, and dress to represent that. If at any point you feel we have made an assumption based on your presentation please let us know what step we can take to remedy this! FemDom/femme attendees can dress to impress as they wish (fetish wear encouraged).

Men/submissive attendees are required to dress to express their interest in femdom, even in some small way, examples include:

1. Fetish wear, collars/leash, cuffs, high heels, fetish shoes, hoods, leather, PVC
2. Crossdressed, glamour, make-up, lingerie
3. Uniforms*, costumes, puppy or animal costumes
4. Bright silly clothing, rainbows, sweet jammies, cute underpants, bow ties, bunny ears, etc.
5. May not wear plain street clothes, jeans, or even a nice suit. If you have not made an effort to abide by the dress code, you may not be allowed entry.

**First-timer men and submissives who do not own fetishwear:**

1. Something costumey or silly.
2. Can be shirtless or take their pants off to show off their underwear (we have bunny ears, cat ears, and collars you may use as well for the duration of the event if you have not come prepared, but people not abiding inside the club may be asked to leave!)

OFFICIAL PARTY RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:

1. Cell phones may only be used outside or in the outer hallway. NO PHONES OUT IN CLUB. If we see you taking photos or filming you will be asked to leave immediately. The only exception is at the photobooth. Please ensure only consenting people are in any photo taken at the photobooth.
2. No audio or video recording devices are allowed
3. No drugs or outside alcohol allowed.
4. CONSENT CONSENT CONSENT. Do not touch another person or their property without their explicit permission. No means no. Do not get pushy or aggressive. This behavior will be grounds for being asked to leave the club. Play is encouraged but NEVER expected.
5. Do not interrupt scenes!
6. Do not get too close to play scenes or ask to be involved.
7. Always negotiate boundaries before playing.
8. Risk-aware and 100% consensual play only.
9. Dungeon Monitors (DMs) will be present and monitoring the space to the best of their abilities, be aware: this space gets crowded. Attendees will respect the Dungeon Monitors, hosts, security, and Sanctuary staff and will adhere to the rules and instructions.
10. Aggressive cruising will not be tolerated. Be aware of the space and energy you are taking when you hover or get near a play scene.
11. No blood play, urine play, hot wax, fire, vomit, scat, knife play, guns, race play, or breath play. The DMs will end scenes including these actions.
12. Limit your play scenes to 45 mins max to allow time for others to use the play areas, suspension points, and dungeon furniture – as there are limited areas.
13. Genitals must be covered unless part of an active play scene. This goes all for all attendees. Sheer stuff is ok just make sure the goodies are covered in some way.
14. Clean furniture and play equipment before and after scenes. Cleaning supplies are provided by the club.
15. Do not move play furniture or install suspension gear without discussing with DMs first.
16. If you’re planning to embark on an intense or edgy scene please let a DM know prior.
17. If you feel someone is misbehaving, being aggressive, or making you or someone else feel uncomfortable, please let the DMs, hosts, or club staff know ASAP and we will do what we can to inform the individual or have them removed.
18. Use of the word “safeword” is a call for assistance. DMs and/or other experienced players will intervene and come to your aid when they hear it. If a DM hears the word “red” they also might intervene if they feel it is necessary.
