Class Description:

This is a class for men who want to participate in kink community appropriately, make friends and be accepted, find connection and play and perhaps even love.

Many men aren’t sure how to get noticed in kink events and kinky dating. Many of us worry about being seen as creepy. Many of us feel like there are skills for approaching people for play or participating at parties that we were never taught. There’s a reason for those challenges: men’s default cultural education tends to be particularly bad at equipping us to thrive in kink culture.

A two hour class can’t teach you everything, but this class will give you a place to start, a place to ask questions, and a roadmap for other sources of education, skill building, support and enlightenment.

This class is open to all masculine-leaning people regardless of gender history, though much of the material is most relevant to the privileges and challenges of cis men.

Presenter Bio:

Anton is the author of The Heart of Dominance and The Dominance Playbook, and has been teaching on topics related to kink since 2004. He has taught with Society of Janus, Wicked Grounds, Dark Odyssey, Kinkfest, Westcoast Bound, MsC and more. Anton has had a lifelong fascination with intimate power, exploring it in contexts ranging from one night play to decade-plus relationships, from casual to full-time, from silly to serious; and in styles from Daddy to Master to Owner to I-don’t-know-what-this-is-but-it-sure-is-fun. He usually dominates, sometimes submits, and always learns; building a deep understanding of many forms of intimate leading and following.

Anton’s workshops have their roots in his sex educator training from San Francisco Sex Information and his experience leading programs as a ranger naturalist. They prioritize participation and discussion over lecture, creating opportunities for sharing, discovery and reflection.
