Alembic Volunteer Host Orientation

Join us for a 1-hr orientation to learn how to volunteer as a host for events at the Berkeley Alembic

This will be a one hour orientation to learn the basics of volunteering as a Host for an Alembic event. Not sure if hosting is a good fit for you? Take a look at our host agreement to get an idea of what the role entails, or come for the orientation to get an in-person feel.

At the end of your orientation you'll have the option to sign up to "shadow" a volunteer shift to get some hands off experience. Once a shadow shift is completed, you can join the Alembic Host crew as a volunteer host for our regular classes and special events.

Space is limited, so please RSVP if you are sure you can attend. We plan to hold these trainings 1-2 times per month, so if you can't make it to this one keep an eye out for future trainings!

Logistics:

• The building will be open for coworking starting at 2pm if you'd like to arrive early
• We'll start promptly at 5pm, and the orientation takes approximately one hour.
• Feel free to hang out afterwards for Michael Taft's meditation class, Deconstructing Yourself, from 6:30-8pm.
• The Alembic has a large, free parking lot.
