Tristan Taormino is an award-winning writer, sex educator, speaker, filmmaker, and podcaster. She is the author of eight books, including the groundbreaking The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women and the editor of 25 anthologies including The Feminist Porn Book, The Ultimate Guide to Kink: BDSM, Role Play and the Erotic Edge and Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships. Her most recent is A Part of the Heart Can’t Be Eaten, a memoir. She has directed and produced twenty-four sex education and porn films that have won more than a dozen awards. As a speaker, she is widely regarded as an expert on a diverse range of topics from sexual empowerment and LGBTQ sexuality to non-monogamy and feminist pornography. She keynotes, lectures, and teaches workshops around the world. Her podcast, Sex Out Loud was produced for eight years (2012-2020).
