Torsions in rope are delicious. A twist here, a bend there… and suddenly the rope bottom’s body becomes a canvas of striking, dramatic shapes. But what’s happening inside our body during those moments of rotation?
In this class, @Insign1A will break down the anatomy of torsion with us!: What’s actually rotating? What should be rotating? Where are the risks? And how can we avoid placing strain where it doesn’t belong?
We’ll explore how to approach torsions with greater intention, body awareness & care:
This class is designed for both Riggers & rope bottoms!
We have loaner ropes if you don't have your own ropes yet. We will also provide yoga mats to tie on, snacks, and water.

Can I come solo as a Rigger/rope bottom?
Yes! Solo attendees are warmly welcomed. The class focus on body mechanics and anatomy, with body exercise that everyone can participate in. Understanding how our body work (differently) can help build body awareness and help us to tie or be tied in a safer manner.
I am a total beginner, can I come?
Yes! No prior skills or knowledge are necessary for this class. Whether you're a curious rope Top/bottom, or simply looking to connect with the community, this class is for you!
Can I come if I am not into rope?
While the principles of anatomy and body mechanics are universally applicable, this class is specifically designed with a focus on rope bodies. You'll undoubtedly learn new and valuable knowledge, but it's worth noting that the demo may be less engaging for those not interested in rope.
