Aperture: Kinky Photography 101 With Fire Dragon Photo

Learn how to get the most out of your kinky pictures with the experts from Fire Dragon Photo!

Taking great shots in sexy dungeon environments can be tricky even for experienced photographers with expensive equipment. However if you've ever wanted to learn how to best take kinky photos, then Fire Dragon Photo and AfterDark have you covered. We're going to teach you to use any camera or camera cellphone to compose sexier images right away.

This class will teach you how to:

1. Highlight your curves and outfit with the right contrast, colors, and poses.
2. Capture every crack of the whip with the right shutter speeds and wide angle settings.
3. Explore the dramatic lighting of dungeon environments to create powerful photos.
4. Challenge the darkness itself by learning how to help your subjects shine like stars.
5. Try your newly learned photography skills in a relaxed environment.

We'll also go over how to adjust basic camera settings such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc. Knowing how to adjust these will help you take the best possible shots. Limited spaces available. Don’t get FOMO. Get your ticket now!

Venue:

This class is being held at Stopgap— San Francisco’s premier kink club, steeped in history and beloved by the kink community. The exact venue address will be sent to ticket holders only for privacy and safety reasons, but for planning purposes, it is located in SoMa.

Stopgap is the newest and oldest kink venue in San Francisco! While a new venue in its current iteration, the building itself has a rich history in the kink community as one of the prior locations of the SF Citadel. The first floor is fully accessible, with social and play spaces - including hardpoints. Descend into the 3100 square foot basement to on equipment that many in the community may have enjoyed in days gone by plus some newer pieces from our collection. There will be crosses, benches, tables, bondage chairs, cages, and much more! Much of the equipment was recovered from the Citadel's lost storage unit early in 2024.

Stopgap has social areas, soft spaces, all kinds of BDSM equipment, etc. We provide safety and hygiene supplies, sheets, and more. We're elevating kink experiences for guests and offer turnkey solutions to organizers who want to use the venue for their own events, classes, etc.

About the Instructor:

Fire Dragon Photo was founded in 2021 by Miss G (Gloria Polo) with a mission to empower people to see their own beauty through photography. She has been covering the bay area kink scene since 2002, and started Out-Of-Our-Minds photography in 2003. The Fire Dragon team (based out their dungeon studio in Oakland) host boudoir sessions and capture performances across the entire country.
