Shay is back with her rope shenanigans with a round-the-world sequence for EITHER self-suspenders or tying pairs!
This class teaches Shay’s all-time favorite lower body harness: the compellingly named Butt Rainbow Thigh Tie of Doom.
After a tie-along of this harness, we’ll use it to travel “around the world” through a partnered or self-suspension sequence that includes face-down, inversion, and face-up positions, the “Figurehead” shape, and dynamic flyer-driven movement.
Be aware that this minimalist tie and sequence may cause involuntary cursing, circus rope shenanigans, oddly specific rope marks, and a newfound appreciation for kinder hip harnesses.
Supplies: A basic suspension kit. Nylon rope is recommended for harnesses; at least two rated uplines (nylon, POSH, etc) are required. To slightly decrease thigh doom, we highly recommend that flyers wear snug-fitting leggings.
7:30pm: Doors open. Please arrive with time to check-in and set up your point before class start time!
7:45pm: Class starts. 8pm doors closed/no late entry.
Tickets are available for both self-suspenders and tying pairs. Be sure to register with the correct ticket so we have an accurate count of attendee make-up. One self-suspender per point, with the option to bring along a spotter. One tying pair per point.
PREREQUISITES: This class is self- or partnered-suspension friendly. This class is NOT an introduction to suspension and all attendees should have previous suspension experience.
No one harness will work for every human. This is a minimal harness that prioritizes movement over support. It is an “advanced” harness from a flyer perspective.
