ART SUPPLY SWAP & Quartz: Queer Arts Maker's Market

Our creative queer community is hosting a free art supply swap, artist crafting hub, along with our garden market with 40+ lgbtq+vendors!

Quartz is your creative queer community space! This month we're hosting an ART SUPPLY SWAP along with our 40+ lgbtq monthly makers market! FREE TO ATTEND!

Bring your paints you never use, or crochet hooks from when you thought you wanted to learn but realized you actually didnt have the patience, your leatherworking tools you havent used in years, or extra embroidery hoops. Anything that can be used for art and will inspire someone elses artistic and creative exploration come drop off!

The art supply swap will run from 1-5pm and be bring what you can and take what you want. There is so much resource in the world to go around so come get inspired and get some new supplies for the next time inspiration hits! We will also have open crafting space at the market to turn your finds into something beautiful at our artists hub.

While our trading and crafting happens inside, our vibrant vendor market bustles outside! This swap will take place during our monthly queer makers market hosted in the beautiful gardens of permaculture site and artist co-op PLACE Community in Oakland. So wander the stalls and pick up something special from local creatives and small businesses in your community! The beautiful garden atmosphere is the perfect place to peruse our queer creatives work. From stunning stickers,edgy zines, leatherwork, upcycled fashion, candles, prints, ceramics, incense, tarot, astrology, and human design readings & so much more! Everything is crafted intentionally by local small-business owners, some seasoned, some just getting their start. We love to support artists at every stage of thier journey here at quartz, as well as provide options for every budget. So come pick yourself up something special and connect with people following thier passions boldly and proudly!

All ages are invited to attend and pets are welcome at the venue!
