Attunement: Unity through Intimate Difference

A 3.5-Hour Valentine's Day Immersion for Couples

With Leo and Rene Reveuse

This Valentine's Day, make sure you do everything right. The right card, the right flowers, the right gift, the right restaurant, the right words, the right responses, and the right emotional tenor. Feeling stressed? Then maybe drop the performance and join us for an afternoon learning to connect beneath the surface. Get into your bodies, into your emotions, and out of your head, in real-time. Learn the tools to access profound intimacy and passionate connection, to see and be seen in unity.

Most of us have been taught romance as theater: the right gestures, the perfect dinner, the expected script. But underneath that performance is the actual, living connection between two biological beings. The warmth that arises when you stop trying so hard, and learn to stay present instead of managing the moment. The radiant bliss of intimate union. The fire of difference, power, surrender.

This workshop gives you concrete practices for recognizing and familiarizing with this intimacy.

What We'll Do

This is the second in our Foundations Series. In our first Foundations workshop, we explored the feeling-body solo by learning to sense emotions, desire, and physical sensation as an internal landscape. Where the first workshop guided participants build intimacy with their body-mind, the current workshop extends that resonance into the wider world, and especially your intimate partnership.

We'll practice:

  • Grounding in care as a body state—learning to create warmth in your chest and belly that becomes a simple grounding practice when things get intense
  • Reading your partner's body—tracking breath, tension, softness, facial expressions, and sound in real-time so you're present and responding to what's actually happening
  • Staying present when things get difficult—specific, powerful techniques for meeting feelings of separation, numbness, resentment, or disconnection without shutting down or trying to fix it
  • Circulating energy between bodies—using breath, touch, and attention to move erotic and heart energy through both of you as a shared circuit
  • Working with power and surrender consciously—an introduction to dominance and submission as states of attention, arousal, and presence (not gender roles or performance)

Each practice begins with a clear explanation, followed by a short demonstration from Leo and Rene, and then plenty of time for you to practice together with light guidance.

What You'll Leave With

  • A felt sense of what it's like to be genuinely attuned to your partner's body and energy
  • Simple practices for cultivating attunement with your partner and others in day to day life
  • Numerous practices you can use at home to reset and rebuilt intimacy when you feel distant
  • Tools for staying warm and present when old patterns or conflicts arise
  • Circulation practices that build both intimacy and heat, both elementary and more complex
  • A taste of the intensity of polarity work within the context of care and the unity of deep attunement

Who We Are

We've been together for 17 years. We have kids, full-time work, and a shared contemplative practice that we've woven into everything, especially our erotic life. This isn't theory. It's the distilled version of what we actually do to stay connected, turned on, honest with each other, and operating as effective partners, all while continually opening into spontaneous freshness.

Leo specializes in helping people stay present with intensity, especially where eros, vulnerability, and power intersect. He brings two decades of contemplative practice and professional conflict work into intimate settings, with an approach that's careful, grounded, and surprisingly playful.

Rene is a neuroscientist whose research explores arousal, attention, and the nervous system. Her practice centers on surrender as active intelligence, learning to let sensation deepen and organize into presence rather than managing or performing it.

Is This For You?

This workshop is a good fit if you:

  • Want concrete practices, not just concepts—things you can actually do together
  • Are excited to explore deep states of connection, vulnerability, and openness with your partner
  • Are willing to work with what's real (including disconnection, irritation, or numbness) rather than only celebrating what's pleasant
  • Have a hot connection, but aren't sure how to keep it hot
  • Feel that an invisible wall has grown between you and your partner, and want to reconnect as lovers, not just efficient partners
  • Are ready to take responsibility for your own boundaries and regulation while staying in intimate contact with your partner

This probably isn't for you if:

  • You're in acute crisis or considering separation. This isn't designed for relationship repair at that level
  • You're hoping to change or fix your partner or yourself
  • You need everything to feel comfortable and positive. True intimacy comes only from full embrace

A Note on Safety

We work from a trauma-informed approach. You can modify or skip any practice. This is not a play party—we will encourage participants to work directly with erotic energy and intensity, but clothes stay on. You'll encounter what's real: old wounds, fresh irritations, and also an ease and freshness of connection you may well exceed all expectation
