But that’s not all! We’re also excited to celebrate the birthday of her Vajesty Dixie De La Tour, Bawdy’s founder and a beloved figure in the sex-positive community.

❤ Her Vajesty Dixie De La Tour is a Story, Communication and Performance Coach, a Podcaster, Impresario, an IRL Enthusiast, but most of all, a Community builder. She is also the Founder, Curator & Host of the Award-winning storytelling series, Bawdy Storytelling (called “The Moth for Pervs” by the LA Weekly, and “The Original Sex and Storytelling series” by Playgirl) that’s been lauded for its transformational, relatable, and empowering performances.

This story-loving southerner is passionate about storytelling’s ability to keep people safe, reduce social anxiety and build connection. She has performed at SketchFest, the San Francisco Jewish Community Center, The Naked Truth, Porchlight, Muni Diaries, Memoir Spool, Fireside Storytelling and many other local storytelling shows. In addition to story coaching and public speaking coaching (for TEDx, Women in Technology, and her own Bawdy Storytelling & BawdySlam series), Dixie offers both one-on-one private story coaching and teaches ‘Storytelling for Job Seekers’ to help you ace that big job interview. Plus she’s been Sainted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (“Saint Kiss & Make You Tell”) for her work to reduce stigma and eliminate shame, and in her free time, she enjoys being a Muppet.

❤ Reid Mihalko (He/Him) of ReidAboutSex.com, Relationship10x.com, and Sex10xOnline.com helps adults and college students create more self-esteem, self-confidence and greater health and satisfaction in and out of the bedroom using an inspiring mixture of humor, keen insight, and comprehensive sexual health information.

Using humor, insight and solid information, Reid appeals to audiences of all orientations, backgrounds, ages, and identities. He speaks pragmatically to nearly all areas of sexual self-expression, intimacy, dating and relating. Reid’s mission is to give men and women new tools to transform their love lives into fulfilling, satisfying, and sustainable expressions of self.

In early 2018, some very brave people came forward sharing harms that Reid had caused them. Reid stepped down from teaching and initiated a restorative justice-based accountability process to address his misconduct and make amends if and where possible. The formal, year-long process along with Reid’s apology and resources were shared publicly and can be found at TinyURL.com/reidaccountability. Going forward, Reid’s projects and appearances will include pointing people towards resources and experts on restorative and transformative justice-based accountability processes.

Reid is a sought-after international speaker frequently speaking at colleges and universities across the country on healthy relationship skills, and regularly appearing in the media sharing his views on shame-free sexuality. He has presented and keynoted at dozens of conferences. The workshops he’s designed continue to be taught all over the world and have been attended by over 50,000 men and women.

Reid has appeared in media such as Netflix’ Chelsea Does… with Chelsea Handler, Oprah’s Our America With Lisa Ling on OWN, the Emmy award-winning talk show Montel, Dr. Phil’s The Doctors on CBS, Bravo’s Miss Advised, Fox News, VH1, Showtime’s Penn & Teller’s Bulls**t!, on NPR, Sirius’ Maxim Radio and Cosmo Radio, in Newsweek, Marie Claire, Details, People, The National Enquirer, Seventeen, GQ, The Washington Post, and in twenty-seven countries and at least fourteen languages.

Reid has also been a writer and producer on a number of films and television projects about sex and relationships and consults regularly behind the scenes with producers and writers as an expert on subjects ranging from infidelity and sex addiction to dating and marriage, from jealousy and non-monogamy to gender dynamics and sexual tips and tricks. Reid is also the founder of Sex Geek Summer Camp, Sex Geek Conservatory, and Sex Geek School for Gifted Sex Geeks, which help sex educators learn valuable business skills that allow them to reach more people with greater ease, transform more lives, and make a better living as sexperts.

For Reid, the skills it takes to make relationships healthy and turn mediocre sex into great sex are learnable by everyone. The question is: Do you have the courage to be the change you want to see in the bedroom?

❤ Samia Mounts is an actor, singer, writer, and podcaster based in San Antonio, TX. You’ve heard her voice on Pokémon, Sony’s Concord, commercial campaigns for Kayak, Bud Light, and Infiniti, and lots of other animation, video game and commercial productions. As a singer and songwriter, she’s released two EPs, several singles and five music videos shot on three continents, and she's performed extensively in both NYC and regional theatre productions. Her first podcast, Make America Relate Again, featured compassionate, respectful political conversations between Samia, a flaming blue liberal, and women who voted for Donald Trump in 2016. She produced a full season of her second podcast, ClosetEd, about the secret private lives of so-called "normal" people, in fall 2025, and was featured twice on Apple Podcasts. She's now releasing weekly episodes of a new show called Happy Slut, where she has joyful conversations about sex and sexuality with both public personalities and anonymous guests...because we're all happier when we're a little slutty. ;) More at samiamounts.com.

❤ Jefferson Bergey is musically promiscuous. The Oakland-based singer-songwriter, MC, game-show host, and professional vocalist at-large has been writing and performing for Bawdy Storytelling! for ten years. In the realm of comedy and variety shows he’s been seen at Punchline SF, San Jose Improv, SF Sketchfest, Ruckus and Rumpus Revival, and has written custom songs for San Francisco’s MUNI Diaries and Laughs For Life.

As a solo act Bergey has been “negotiating covers” for the past decade as a live-looping solo act at private parties, weddings, corporate events, and music venues all over the greater Bay Area. He’s the namesake of Chef Matt Woods’ Bergey Burger, voted three-times “Best of the Bay”, currently served at Scopo Divino in San Francisco where he recently completed a 250 show residency.

You can see him fronting the Allman Brothers Tribute: Freestone Peaches, Crosseyed & Painless: The Music of Talking Heads, as a virtual game show host for WEVE (The Go Game), and featuring with Jazz Mafia’s Grateful Brass and Fog City Swing. When he isn’t performing, he’s flying all over the west coast and Hawaii to give lively presentations on leading bands on high-pressure events based on a manual he wrote from his colorful experiences as a wedding singer over the last decade.

In 2024 he became obsessed with the music and story of Frank Sinatra and has sold-out multi-show runs in Sacramento, L.A., and Oakland for Pure Soul Presents, Concerts Under the Stars, and Candlelight Concerts. He produces and performs a quarterly song/storytelling show called Sinatra Saloon; A Tale & A Tune.

Thanks to his supporters on Patreon, Bergey is currently recording a sonic-graphic-novel set to songs and narration. His most recent single release, ‘W.Y.D.O.T.D. pt. 1’ (originally written for Bawdy Storytelling) is one of the songs from that gritty story and can be found on your favorite streaming service.
