❤ Katharine Strange is a storyteller, writer, activist, and mom living in Seattle. When she's not onstage sharing her most embarrassing secrets or sitting in education policy meetings, you can find her writing. Her work has appeared in such outlets as HuffPo, The Seattle Times, and ScaryMommy. Heretic Hereafter is her weekly tongue-in-cheek newsletter on living the good life after saying goodbye to Evangelical Christianity. ❤ Little Squirt is a high-femme they/them, pastel punk, little pink switch-y bitch. They were the inaugural WA State Mx. Leather in 2023 and currently holds the title of Northwest Person of Leather 2024. A proud kinkster since 2017 and leatherdyke since 2018, Squirt is an avid advocate for de-stigmatizing sexual exploration. Through the use of social media, they’ve been able to educate the general public about sex work, the leather community, and safe kink practices. Within the community, Squirt devotes their time to event producing, fundraising, educating, and carving out spaces for trans and non-binary leatherfolk. They are the creator and co-host of the W.E.T. Mosh in collaboration with SEA-PAH and the Trans and Non-Binary Leather Social in Seattle. Squirt is the baby of the Seattle House of Shenanigans and proudly stands with their house’s principles of elevating marginalized groups in leather and #KeepKinkSilly.

❤ Nick Vega has always relied on words—sometimes as a weapon, sometimes as an escape route, often as the very thing that got him into trouble in the first place—so it’s only natural that he found his way to storytelling.

Born and raised in New York City, he’s lived in Seattle since 2009. He’s been telling stories on stages since 2016, earning a reputation for fast-paced delivery, sharp wit, self-deprecating humor, and emotional honesty. He specializes in transforming personal experiences into universal truths, turning life’s most vulnerable moments into stories that make you laugh, wince, and recognize yourself—usually with a few well-placed four-letter words.

A lover of dive bars, he co-founded Bar Stories Live on Stage in 2023 to capture the magic of swapping tales with strangers over drinks. He’s also the co-founder of How Do You Know That Trivia, bringing pub quiz experiences to bars and senior living communities across the Northwest.

When not stressing over his next production, you’ll find him at local shows, walking the streets of the city with camera in hand, haunting trivia nights, buying whiskey, justifying his next supermarket chicken tender, and spoiling his cats.

❤ Javann Jones is a Seattle-based writer, stand-up comedian, and full-time negro. Born and raised in Alabama, his comedy contains a strong blend of equal parts Southern charm and brazen outspokenness. He's been described as "uncomfortably funny", as his comedy delves directly into topics of race, social justice, politics, dating, identity, and more. He is unapologetically Black and queer, though he does occasionally accept apologies from those who are not. A true fan of dichotomies, Javann is delightful but also has been called an asshole by his partner's therapist.

❤ Jefferson Bergey is musically promiscuous. The Oakland-based singer-songwriter, MC, game-show host, and professional vocalist at-large has been writing and performing for Bawdy Storytelling! for ten years. In the realm of comedy and variety shows he’s been seen at Punchline SF, San Jose Improv, SF Sketchfest, Ruckus and Rumpus Revival, and has written custom songs for San Francisco’s MUNI Diaries and Laughs For Life.

As a solo act Bergey has been “negotiating covers” for the past decade as a live-looping solo act at private parties, weddings, corporate events, and music venues all over the greater Bay Area. He’s the namesake of Chef Matt Woods’ Bergey Burger, voted three-times “Best of the Bay”, currently served at Scopo Divino in San Francisco where he recently completed a 250 show residency.

You can see him fronting the Allman Brothers Tribute: Freestone Peaches, Crosseyed & Painless: The Music of Talking Heads, as a virtual game show host for WEVE (The Go Game), and featuring with Jazz Mafia’s Grateful Brass and Fog City Swing. When he isn’t performing, he’s flying all over the west coast and Hawaii to give lively presentations on leading bands on high-pressure events based on a manual he wrote from his colorful experiences as a wedding singer over the last decade.

In 2024 he became obsessed with the music and story of Frank Sinatra and has sold-out multi-show runs in Sacramento, L.A., and Oakland for Pure Soul Presents, Concerts Under the Stars, and Candlelight Concerts. He produces and performs a quarterly song/storytelling show called Sinatra Saloon; A Tale & A Tune.

Thanks to his supporters on Patreon, Bergey is currently recording a sonic-graphic-novel set to songs and narration. His most recent single release, ‘W.Y.D.O.T.D. pt. 1’ (originally written for Bawdy Storytelling) is one of the songs from that gritty story and can be found on your favorite streaming service (Listener Discretion Advised!)

❤ Dixie De La Tour is a sexual folklorist, professional storyteller, podcaster, teacher, storytelling coach, community builder and most of all, a transformation agent. She is also the Founder, Curator & Host of the Award-winning storytelling series, Bawdy Storytelling (“The Moth for Pervs” - LA Weekly, “The Original Sex and Storytelling series” - Playgirl) that’s been lauded for its transformational, relatable, empowering performances. Dixie has been a featured storyteller for Risk!, the National Storytelling Conference, has emcee'd Leather and Sexuality Events and Conferences, and in addition to story and public speaking coaching for her own Bawdy series, she story-coaches for events such as TEDx, Women in Technology, and offers How to Be Fascinating: Dixie's Secret System for Brilliant Storytelling and How to Be Bawdy: Dixie’s Secret System for Uncensored Storytelling.

Ultimately, this story-loving southerner is passionate about storytelling’s ability to keep people safe, reduce social anxiety and connect us with strangers. Dixie has also been Sainted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (“Saint Kiss & Make You Tell”) for her work to reduce stigma and eliminate shame, and in her free time, she enjoys being a Muppet.
