Event info

Apply lots of sunscreen throughout the day, and stay hydrated! We’d recommend bringing picnic blankets, canopies, and camping chairs. You’ll also need to bring your own food and drinks. Feel free to bring a bunch to make it a picnic!

We're going to try to aim for the Brook 2 Picnic Area but that might be taken, so we'll update things on Instagram (@bobamunch) if that's the case.

If you're coming here by public transit, Fremont BART is about a 30 minute walk away. Parking can be a pain, so carpool and arrive early! Lake Elizabeth has multiple parking lots, but the closest one is the lot next to Kennedy Playground (G2VP+VC Fremont, California).

FOR NEW MEMBERS: We will be having a Welcome Corner at 2:30pm and will be covering everything you need to know to thrive in the scene, including how to build relationships and navigate the community! Even if you are experienced, we highly recommend attending if you're new to BOBA Munch as we will also be introducing members of our munch that you can connect with!

If you identify as either Asian, Asian American, Southeast Asian, Indian/South Asian, Middle Eastern, or Pacific Islander, you are welcome to join our community. If not, please give us this space. You are welcome to bring a +1 but please do not bring a whole gang. Do not come cruising. Please be vaccinated or boosted.
