Bondage 101: Single & Double Column Ties

Learn and practice fundamental rope skills for more fun in the bedroom and the dungeon.

In this rope skills workshop, we'll go over three essential ties that are commonly used in most situations. We'll cover single and double-column ties, a rapid tie, larkshead, slipknots and how to use them together to create safe and comfortable play.

Whether you are new to bondage, or looking to pick up new skills or build your confidence working with rope, this class will have something for you.

We welcome rope enthusiasts of all levels although this class is geared especially for newbies. Looking for a refresher or to make a new friend, join us! There will be plenty of time for practice with personal feedback and Q & A, and access to the custom BDSM furniture in a gorgeous private studio dungeon.

We'll cover:

• Single and double column ties and when to use each
• Larkshead, slipknot, rapid tie
• Safety and awareness
• Basic negotiation for bondage scenes
• Combining rope and connecting things to other things
• Rope handling and flow

What to bring:

• Wear comfortable clothing you can move in
• Any type of rope you have (cotton, hemp, jute). Recommended: lengths of 12' -30' long and 6mm diameter
• A yoga or exercise mat for floor practice - we also have chairs
• EMT safety scissors or safe cutting tool
