Bonk 101

Bonk, Biff, Smack, Spank, Slap, Strike, Whump, Bump… Impact Play can take on a wide variety of forms and can be administered with anything from a naked hand to finely crafted wares, as well as commonplace items like kitchen utensils or a hair brush.  Are you Impact Curious?  This class is designed to offer a thorough introduction to the art of Impact Play, including anatomy and safety concerns, insights on our neurological and somatic processing of pain, and how rhythm can create a meaningful arc to your scene. We welcome those who are new to this kind of play as well as seasoned players.  

OBJECTIVES

1. Review of Negotiation and Consent for Impact Scene
2. Anatomy- Safer spaces and “hot spots” of varying bodies
3. Review of various implements and toys
4. Basic information on Nervous System and Pain Processing
5. Concepts of Rhythm, Speed, Intensity, Interpretation

CANCELLATION POLICY: you can reschedule once or ask for a refund up to 48 hours before the event. No refunds will be issued with less than 48 hours notice of cancellation.
