Bottoms Up: Bottom-Led Labbing

What does it look like to grow, together?

**This class is more effective if you attend with a tying partner for hands-on practice.**

This workshop centers intentional communication while in rope -- especially when sensations are complex, emotions are present, or words feel harder to access. Through structured exercises, bottoms will practice leading negotiations, making choices about how a tie unfolds, and expressing preferences in real time. The goal isn’t a specific outcome or shape, but building clarity, agency, and shared understanding.

Asking for what you need as a skill that can be learned, practiced, and refined.

You’ll Explore

  • Bottom-led negotiation and pacing
  • Naming sensations and limits in real time
  • Asking for adjustments and providing feedback
  • Learning through iteration, rather than 'toughing it out'
  • Collaborative rope as a shared skillset

Bottoms Up is a series of classes taught from the bottom's perspective. While they center skills for being in rope, the content is applicable for all rope nerds, regardless of their role(s).
