Bound & Drawn: Live Shibari Drawing

Get ready for a unique experience blending art and bondage at Bound & Drawn - where Shibari meets live figure drawing!

We’re back! Join us for the second installment of Bound & Drawn — a live shibari figure drawing salon centering rope, stillness, and sensual creativity inside a BIPOC-led studio built for artistic freedom. Medicine Wall Studio provides affordable creative space, resources, and services for those involved in healing, liberation, and community work.

Why Shibari?

Shibari — the Japanese art of rope bondage — offers striking shapes, intentional tension, and dynamic lines that make it a powerful subject for figure drawing. The way rope interacts with the body creates depth, texture, and emotion on the page, offering artists a unique opportunity to study form, stillness, and sensual architecture in motion.

Proceeds from your ticket purchase help sustain Medicine Walls and its' work to continue to provide a space for radical creativity, healing, and liberation.
