Boundary Expression and Enforcement with Laura Boyle of Ready for Polyamory

Boundary Expression and Enforcement

with Laura Boyle of Ready for Polyamory

a live and recorded online class from Wicked Grounds

2/17 6pm Pacific

As a certified People Pleaser and Anxious Conflict Avoider, for many years I struggled immensely with communicating needs and boundaries with partners, friends, and metamours. Communication of needs and boundaries is the foundation of self-care in all relationships, but especially polyamorous relationships, where additional moving parts may necessitate additional communication around situational and emotional changes.

This class is a roundup of strategies that I've been offered over the years by therapists, partners, and my own imagination, including the ones that don't work for me but do for others I know, to help attendees build their toolbox for this type of interaction.

PRESENTER:

Laura Boyle is a relationship coach, educator, and author of Monogamy? In this Economy? Finances, Childrearing, and Other Practical Concerns of Polyamory. She's the voice behind the Ready for Polyamory blog and podcast, and has been an expert voice on polyamory in such publications as The Boston Globe and Cosmopolitan. She's been polyamorous for nearly 20 years and has been teaching since 2018.
