His work creates a safe space for clients to explore the deeper layers of stress—what he calls the “Three T’s”: Thoughts, Traumas, and Toxins—and how they manifest as tension in the body.
With breathwork and movement as foundational tools, Dr. Howie guides individuals to reconnect with their bodies and uncover the physical and emotional patterns influencing their health. His approach is rooted in presence, nervous system awareness, and somatic curiosity.
Born in Taiwan and raised across China, Japan, and the U.S., Howie settled in San Jose at age 11. A lifelong athlete, he swam competitively with the Santa Clara Swim Club and earned a scholarship to UC San Diego. After enduring chronic injuries throughout college and exhausting conventional care, a single chiropractic adjustment transformed his physical and emotional state—leading him to pursue his doctorate at Palmer West College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Howie brings a grounded, compassionate, and deeply human lens to his work, meeting clients where they are and guiding them toward greater alignment, resilience, and vitality.
