Box ties (a.k.a. TKs, gotes, takatekotes) have...a reputation. But hiding underneath all the dogma and opinions and reputation for risk is an incredibly useful, adaptable harness. Join us for an afternoon exploring one of the most notorious (and iconic) patterns in rope bondage.
TK Tie-Along: 1:00 - 3:30 PM
We're bringing our 'blow it up' approach to the TK - breaking the pattern into its most basic components and then rebuilding it to suit our needs. We'll tie through several variations, including options for low- and hyper-mobile shoulders.

Guided TK Lab: 4:00-6:00 PM
Building on the options presented in the first half of the clinic, students will have the opportunity to lab their TK with focused feedback from Studio staff. A little playground, a little science lab, all box tie.
Prerequisites:
Familiarity with tying suspendable harnesses is essential for this workshop, but you do NOT need to have experience with (tying or being tied in) box ties.
Students being tied should be familiar with providing real-time feedback as they are tied. Familiarity with being suspended is recommended.
