Communication and Empathy Games

Join us for a fun evening of creating connections and developing skills that are enormously beneficial in everyday life through playing GROK!

GROK is an interactive card game that helps foster deeper understanding and connection with each other, while also leaning about the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) it’s founded upon.

Nonviolent Communication has been life changing for myself and millions of others. Learning NVC can enrich your relationships with others and make a huge impact on your own inner healing and self-empowerment.

Some of the ways that NVC has made a difference in my life:

• Learning how to bring more self-awareness has helped with my anxieties.

• Through that self-awareness, it’s created much more choice and abundance in my life.

• It’s enabled me to reveal my more authentic self with others.

There's so much more, but the impact it's had on me is why I've wanted to share this with others., I I love this way of learning about and practicing NVC, because I think we retain what we learn more when we have fun doing so. Of course, it also brings wonderful connections :)

Event Format:

The event consists of playing 4 games, each relating to NVC concepts, with a group discussion after each game where we reflect on the concepts brought up. I often learn so much from these conversations, as well as sharing my own insights.

These games will also give people a chance to practice giving empathy and experience receiving empathy. It’s a simple process yet often has a profound impact. It’s a space where attendees can experience being deeply understood by others, whether it's something they’re struggling with or even something they want to celebrate.
