Covid Conscious Queers Do Karaoke

Join us for a fun evening of karaoke fun! The World Famous Turf Club has a spacious patio with lots of air flow, and the sound system is top notch. We'll meet at 7:30 to talk before it gets noisy and put in our song requests.

**Who can come** Queers and their friends/SOs who have been covid vaccinated in the last 13 months are welcome. MASKING WILL BE REQUIRED at our table. (I will also have outside karaoke events that don't require masking for those who maintain a different standard of covid safety. Please lmk if you are interested in those events.) BTW, there are other invites on other platforms, so there are more people coming than those on this invite.

**Covid risk information** I have been there many times on a Thursday night, and it has never been packed. There have always been a lot of empty tables and seats. (But obviously I can't promise it will be that way.) We will get a table away from people, but it is of course possible that someone unmasked will sit next to us.

Although the singing is outside, you have to go through the building to get to the patio. At 7:30 there aren't a lot of people, but almost all of them are not masked. To leave, you do not have to go through the building again. There is an outdoor bar, so you don't have to go inside for drinks, but the bathrooms are inside.

Microphone condoms are provided. The microphone is around 8 feet from the nearest table. However, there is plenty of space to move back, maybe 5 some feet.

**Disability access** It's wheelchair accessible, however, depending on where on the patio we are going, you have to enter through a different entrance. Let me know and we'll coordinate.
