Create a warm, fuzzy atmosphere with us! At this workshop, you'll be guided through interactive exercises around communication, boundaries & touch. Then during the open time, ask for hugs, platonic cuddling, conversations, games, or simply be present in the space. It's all about comfort, consent, and connection.
Easy movement warm ups (all optional and at your comfort level) and mindfulness exercises help us get in touch with the wisdom of our bodies and allow space to slow down. Through guided exercises, we practice asking for what we would like, receiving other’s boundaries graciously, and feeling comfortable saying yes or no to requests in a low-stakes setting. Facilitated rounds and demonstrations allow us to practice at our own pace and work in small groups, all while tuning into ourselves and listening to our instincts.
Through these activities, you may experience an increased sense of wellbeing, belonging, confidence, and a boost in compassion and playfulness.
This is a non-sexual event. Clothes stay on at all times (at minimum of shorts and a tank top). All must arrive and remain sober throughout the event. You may find yourself getting a natural high on oxytocin - the "hug hormone."
