Deconstructing Whiteness & Reclaiming Sovereignty - BIPOC / Bodies of Culture Group

This group supports white participants in examining and unlearning whiteness – not from a place of shame, but from a commitment to accountability, repair, and transformation. Together we will explore stepping out of inherited conditioning and into more authentic and reciprocal relationships with ourselves, our ancestors and lineages, our Global Majority siblings, and the living world.

Group Structure

• 8 bi-weekly sessions

• Small groups (limit 6 participants)

• Hybrid format: primarily virtual with the first and final sessions held in person near Lake Merritt

• In-person sessions incorporate connection with land and place

Cost

• $40/session

• $75/session with BIPOC reparations funds included

• Low-fee options available upon request
