What makes touch sensual? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the energy, nuance, and science behind the techniques that awaken desire.
What makes touch feel sensual? How is it different from erotic or romantic touch? In this immersive, hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the layers that define sensual touch – its energy, nuance, and intention — and the science behind the techniques as we practice how to bring it alive in real-time.
Think of it like a partner dance class: you’ll learn not only by listening and watching, but by moving, touching, and experiencing for yourself.
-Energy & Presence – How to hold yourself, read proximity and movement, use body language, and master the art of the tease.
-Gentle Touch
Caresses, tracing body lines, playing with hair, and offering supportive, grounding contact.
-Assertive Touch
Shifting pace and pressure, blending softness with intensity, incorporating pinning and positioning.
-Adding the Voice
Using compliments, playful teases, narration, sounds, and commands to heighten connection.
-Sensory Tools
Everyday objects like scarves, combs, cutlery, paintbrushes, or clothespins become surprising tools for sensation. Participants will also have the option to take home a small “sensual kit”.
This is not an erotic workshop: no s*xual or genital touch. Instead, we focus on presence, play, and connection.
Come with a partner you’d like to explore with – or come solo! Just like a dance class, you’ll have opportunities to rotate partners or stay with one person throughout. Group exercises and pairings will flow naturally, but no one is ever forced to partner with someone they don’t feel comfortable with.
All genders, orientations, and relationship dynamics are warmly welcomed. Demonstrations will include a diversity of pairings, and we encourage curiosity across different energies.
Why Join?
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have:
- A deeper understanding of what makes touch feel sensual and how to create that experience intentionally.
- Practical tools to connect more authentically with partners (or future partners).
- A playful, confidence-boosting experience in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
- An understanding of how and why to cultivate ongoing sensuality in our own lives and relationships, and the challenges that get in the way.
We recommend everyone wear loose, comfortable clothing that can easily expose skin. Guests may undress down to their level of comfort, but concealing underwear must stay on at all times. We also recommend bringing a robe or a blanket to wrap yourself in for emotional and physical comfort. Yoga mats are welcome for cushioning as well.
