Devil Mask Studio Fieldtrip to the Hammer Museum

  • Los Angeles, CA -

When Ron Finley calls, you answer.

If you've ever appreciated a sidewalk garden in LA, you've got Finley to thank. An urban gardener/fashion designer/activist/artist/force of nature, Ron approached Devil Mask Studio for some assistance in executing his vision for The Hammer Museum's newest exhibit: Breath(e): Toward Climate and Social Justice.

"Breath(e) was conceived during the height of the global COVID-19 pandemic and America’s racial reckoning in 2020, and as such explores pressing issues related to the ethics of climate justice, while proposing pragmatic and philosophical approaches to spur discussion and resolution. The exhibition strives to challenge and deconstruct polarized political attitudes surrounding climate justice in America and offers new perspectives around land and indigenous rights of nature"

The exhibit features works by over twenty artists, both indoors and outdoors. Devil Mask Studio founder, Andrew, collaborated with Ron Finley on his garden installation. Join us to celebrate the opening of the show.

We will meet at the museum entrance at 8 PM. Look for the crew wearing "Devil Mask Studio" shirts.

FREE and open to the public - RSVP recommended
