"DO I MATTER TO YOU?": A Playful Partnered Holding Space Training for Feeling & Offering Unconditional Love & Acceptance

LEARN HOW TO HOLD SPACE THAT FEELS LIKE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Experience a learning process where you intentionally explore communication with another person. You'll alternating interrupting one another in a light and playful manner before settling into embodying a space for your partner's and your deepest truths to emerge.

Come with your partner, friend, or family member OR be put in a breakout room with one other person

TO GET THERE, THIS TRAINING INCLUDES FIVE ROUNDS WITH:

  1. A playful experience of interrupting and making it personal or changing the subject to focus on you
  2. Jumping in to offer advice when it's not requested
  3. Intentionally but lightly making the other person wrong
  4. Listening though planning what you're going to say once it's your turn
  5. Finally learning how to hold space for your training partner's deepest truths and clarity to emerge on their own

WORKSHOP FORMAT:

>> 10:00 - 10:10 am An introduction to Daniela

>> 10:10 - 10:40 am Guidance through the Playful Holding Space Training with your partner or in breakout rooms with someone else

>> 10:40 - 10:50 am Integration and discussion of what you experienced and what holding space means to you

>> 10:50 - 11:00 am Sharing and closing

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:

Daniela (she/they) is a trauma-informed, certified Sex and Intimacy Coach for couples and individuals as well as a speaker and writer practicing somatic abolitionism and appropriated tantra.

Named one of the ten best Sex and Intimacy Coaches of 2023 by DatingAdvice.com, she supports couples and individuals to experience more sex and deeper connection with themselves and with their partner(s) without pushing before their body is ready, feeling weak, or performing.

With over twenty-four years of experience coaching people one-on-one and teaching in college classrooms and wellness spaces, she curates exercises and practices steeped in somatic attachment theory, neuroscience, embodied conflict resolution, trauma resolution, and modern psychology and inspired by ancient tantric and taoist wisdom.

Daniela is a queer cisgendered woman raced as white born in the Bay Area as well as a biological and transnational adoptive parent of three.

She lives and works as an uninvited guest on occupied Ohlone land that’s currently known as San Jose, California in the United States.

For her, nothing is more important than connection.
