MORE ABOUT THE PLAY PARTY...

This is a conscious play party in the style that Reid has been hosting for over 24 years! This means:

  1. No hard alcohol or hard drugs allowed (If you need a few drinks or a substance to attend a play party, then this isn't the play party for you) - Wine, champagne, and beer are welcome. We are 420-friendly.
  2. Emphasis on care and consent (If you can't handle getting a no graciously and respecting people's boundaries, then this isn't the play party for you)
  3. We kick-off the play party with a Welcome Circle filled with ice-breakers and consent exercises where we go over the rules and agreements for the party, and help the newbies feel at home at their first play parties (If you often feel impatient that we're not getting to the fucking fast enough... Guess what? THIS isn't the play party for you)

Conscious Play Party: An Evening of Exploration, Embodiment & Erotic Awakening

Step into a space where curiosity meets courage meets consent, where pleasure is honored, and where every desire ā€”whether spoken or still unfoldingā€” is met with care and respect.

This isnā€™t just a play party. Itā€™s a temple of possibilityā€”a place where shame has an opportunity to melt away, where consent is practiced like an art, and where you are invited to explore what feels authentic, exciting, and true for you. Whether you're here to watch, learn, play, or simply exist in a space where sensuality is celebrated, this party is yours to shape.

THE WELCOME CIRCLE: Arriving On the Same Page Together

We begin with a Welcome Circleā€”a grounding moment to drop in; go over the rules, expectations and agreements; and set the tone for our journey together. Through guided ice breakers and group exercises, weā€™ll co-create a lighthearted space of trust, curiosity, non-perfectionism, and deep consent. This is your chance to begin checking in with yourself: What do I desire? What do I want to practice asking for/exploring? What boundaries do I want to practice/enforce? Where do I want to stretch or soften? How can I honor myself MORE?

Whether you're here to slut your heart out, flirt with possibility, or be the voyeur and bask in the glow of open-hearted connection, the Welcome Circle is how we begin co-creating feeling seen, safer, and celebrated.

During our time together, youā€™ll be invited to:

šŸ’« Release shame and step into a space of exploration...

šŸ—£ļø Practice courageous communicationā€”naming what you want, setting boundaries, making requests with confidence, and thanking people for taking care of themselves when they tell you No.

šŸŒæ Tune into your bodyā€™s yes, no, and maybeā€”and learn to honor them fully (and if youā€™re new to this, giving yourself the space and grace to grow and improve!)

šŸ‘€ Witness and learn from othersā€”whether through voyeurism, conversation, flirtation, sensual play, or deeper embodied experiences, soak in whatā€™s available for you when you surround yourself with brave, amazing, like-minded adults who also want to play and explore whatā€™s possible!

FREE PLAY TIME: The "Choose Your Own Adventure" Part of the Party

After the Welcome Circle, the party unfolds in whatever ways feel right for you. Thereā€™s no scriptā€”only invitations. There are no ā€œhave toā€™s,ā€ only ā€œget toā€™s.ā€

šŸ”„ Want to observe and take it all in? Find a cozy nook and soak in the beauty of people engaging with authenticity, desire, and care. Learning by watching is just as powerful as learning through action.

šŸ‘ Feeling drawn to connection? Engage in going as slow feels right for you... Practice having safer-sex conversations, try eye-gazing or playing with energy, explore gentle touch with a partner or new friend...

šŸ’‹ Curious about more sensual or erotic play? Find your words and follow your desiresā€”always with explicit consent and mutual enthusiasm.

šŸ’ž Need a pause? Sink into a cuddle, journal, hit the snack table, or take a breather in a quiet area designed for reflection and integration.

šŸš— Feeling full and want to leave early? One of Reidā€™s play party rules is: ā€œNo one has to play at a play party ever, which includes leaving whenever youā€™d like to.ā€

Every moment is an opportunity to exploreā€”without expectation, pressure, or obligation. You are always at choice.

THE CLOSING CIRCLE: Reflection, Grounding & Integration

As the play party winds down, we gather in a Closing Circleā€”a space to witness, celebrate, and integrate.

šŸŒ€ What did you discover about yourself tonight?

šŸ’– What moments felt expansive, electric, or affirming?

šŸ™Œ What do you want to be celebrated for?

šŸ˜¬ Where did you meet an edge or something challenging?

šŸŒ± What seeds do you want to plant for your next adventure or play party?

The Closing Circle is your time to be seen, to share your experiences, and to honor both the ease and the challenges of the night. Whether you played boldly, had all the feels, or simply sat in the beauty of the space, every journey is valid, and we would love for you to give them voice before we send you on your way.

A Few Things to Know:

āœØ Consent is the foundation of everything. Consent is an ongoing collaboration between two or more people in constant verbal, physical, and emotional dialogue about what each other needs to willingly, safely, and pleasurably engage in an interaction with one another. At our play parties, we practice and strive to co-create interactions where our yeses overlap, and where boundaries and changing oneā€™s mind are honored without hesitation. Nerd out more on consent HERE - https://BonoboNetwork.com/consent

āœØ This is a space to practice and hone inclusivity & non-judgment. All genders, bodies, relationship expressions, ages over 21, and sexual orientations are welcome. We welcome LGBTQIA+ and BiPOC folks. Trans women are women/Trans men are men. And all expressions of authentic desire (within the container of consent and care) are welcome. Note: Reidā€™s play space isnā€™t set up for heavy kink play.

āœØ No hard alcohol or hard drugs. If you need to have a few drinks or a substance to attend a play party, then this might not be the play party for you. We are wine/champagne/beer and 420 friendly. Celebrate and regulate their nervous systems, but these events are about checking in rather than checking out... And we invite you to lean into your discomfort rather than avoiding or burying it.

āœØ You donā€™t need to ā€œdoā€ anything. Watching, resting, and simply being present are all meaningful ways to engage. Playing Scrabble by the snack table is just as hot to us nerds as a foursome. We get it.

āœØ The What To Wear:

ā€¢ You do you for the play party! Sexy lingerieā€¦ Onesiesā€¦ Your birthday suitā€¦ Only YOU know what attire will take your shenanigans to the next level!

ā€¢ The hot tub is always clothing optional.

āœØ The How Many: We will cut off the play party at 25-30 peopleā€™ish.

āœØ The Why: If you know me, you know how much I enjoy and am nourished by intentional, group social-sexual shenanigans with kick-ass folks who prioritize consent and care. Plus: The world is a better place when my slutty friends meet my other slutty humans. Please consider adding yourself to the mix? I hope so!

āœØ The Who: Sex-positive and group sex savvy folks in my inner and not-so-inner circles.

āœØ The COVID 411: While these gatherings are not vaccine-mandatory in that we wonā€™t be asking for proof of vaccination. We do ask that you take a rapid test the day of the event to add peace of mind to those attending. We will be checking tests at the door,* so have a pic handy on your phone or you can purchase a rapid test for $10 if you forget, and weā€™ll make you wait outside while your test results do their thang.

*If you have resistance about taking a rapid test before getting let into the event... or feel wobbly about staying home if youā€™re feeling any symptoms or under the weather... I ask that you opt out of coming to my gatherings so that my immunocompromised friends can feel more at ease attending.

Again, if you feel like youā€™re coming down with something, please make the difficult choice to abstain from attending. You will be missed, but everyone will appreciate you doing the right thing.

The STI Dealio: I get my STI testing done every 3 to 4 months. Feel free to use this party as an excuse to schedule your next testing ā€”even if itā€™s schedule to happen after the partyā€” I think youā€™re wonderful to be getting tested regularly! It makes me want to play with you even more.

I also expect that you ā€”like I do of my close friendsā€” are comfortable disclosing STI statuses and being honest about such things when engaging in shenanigans. And that we can count on YOU to be getting tested regularly and willing and able in the future to let those you engage with know when you test positive for something. Together, we can destigmatize and normalize all the shame around STIs. Thanks in advance for being kick-ass about this!

The What To Brings: BYOB and foods for the potluck and to snack on throughout the evening. Bring whatever safer sex supplies youā€™ll need to enjoy yourself to the max! We will have some safer sex supplies available, but better to BYOSaferSexSupplies! :)

IF YOU READ THIS FAR...

If you read this far in the invite, BRAVO! Well done! I can't wait to meet you. šŸ™Œ

Hereā€™s some copy from previous play party invites that a past lover crafted years ago and have been lovingly tweaked and edited over the 24 years that I've been hosting play parties. I think these words are a great reminderā€¦.

This will be a very chill, fun, playful event where sex and nudity will most likely occur. This will also be a co-ed/pansexual environment with a large range of ages...

What is Play with a capital "P"?

Play with a capital "P" is whatever it means to you. You are invited to co-create whatever feeds your soul. Participation (also with a capital "P") can mean many things and voyeurs are as warmly welcomed as the most actively engaged. It's a sensual space where participants are encouraged to explore themselves and others in ways that are stimulating, nurturing, exciting, safe and FUN!

If you're considering coming to this event (and have read THIS far!), we belive it's because you get it! You are sensually, erotically, and emotionally savvy enough to Play nicely with others. You're a good sharer, you take good care of your toys and lovers, and you use your words. :-) You are somebody who knows your own wants and boundaries and can communicate them clearly... and we think that quality is fucking yummy as hell!

We open the doors for people to begin arriving and socializing at the above-stated time and we close the doors and lock people out after things begin. Latecomers are not allowed. The Welcome Circle is what we use to introduce ourselves to one another, have a safer sex conversation, share any boundaries people should know about, go over house rules, and get all comfy and ready to Play.

If you feel like any of this is "too much" or "overkill," maybe this isn't the right play party for you. I can say this with some authority (a.k.a. confirmation bias) because I've been hosting play parties for over 24 years. Maybe that is a drawback 'cause I feel "certain" about some things, but I'd rather be over protected about the safety and consent of those who come to my events than impatient. Please opt in or opt out accordingly. I respect whichever choice feels truest to you. Truly.
