Rules & Guideline
- Always ask for consent before touching anyone or their belongings.
- There is zero tolerance for hate speech. Help create a safe space for everyone, regardless of their role, gender, ethnicity, orientation, religion, experience, or skill level.
- Don't make assumption about others' roles, genders, ages, or experience levels. Take the time to get to know each individual by asking questions and maintaining curiosity.
- Cruising is not allowed. This is NOT a dating event. While we are not going to stop you from vibing with the right person, our primary focus is on fostering friendships and community.
- Respect that others will have differing opinions. Respect their right to express their thoughts. Stay curious and ask questions: Don’t try to convince them to change; instead, try to understand why they believe that.
- “Let’s agree to disagree.” A phase to use when you would like to stop discussing a topic. If someone said that, please respect that and move on.
- If talking about potentially triggering topics please ask consent from the group before telling the story. (Ex. Abuse, Self Harm, Etc.)
- Safe Signals: Covering your name tag.
- Our Hosts are here to help if you feel uncomfortable or in need of any assistance.
