Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore, unwind and unfold your true expression.

Somatic Ecstatic Embodiment Journey

Awaken your curious and sensual spine through yoga shapes, fluid-flow dance and conscious touch. Explore developmental movement patterns to uncover stories that have been living in your body and integrate a new felt, dynamic narrative that invokes psychosomatic liberation allowing for comfort and pleasure as a state of being.

Use the inroads of movement, contact improv and Thai massage to become an active agent in cultivating presence. This somatic-based movement and connection ceremony is an opportunity to let the veils of separation fall away, to shift from the place of you and me into we, and to access the all pervading consciousness we can sense on a cellular level both within and without.

James Kapicka is an Somatic-based movement facilitator, yoga teacher, and Thai massage practitioner dedicated to fostering a nurturing and explorative space for movement and connection. James blends his expertise in somatic movement with a unique emphasis on play, intuition, and embodied presence aiming to uncover deeper layers of awareness and engagement. His mission is to inspire personal freedom, foster genuine connections, and promote meaningful action through curiosity, creative play, and authentic self-expression.

Kudos LoKey is a cosmological being who channels the pulse, colours and movement of the Earth through musical poetry. With an unabating passion for pushing musical boundaries, Kudos LoKey blends genres through sonic alchemy; creating intoxicating dance-floor elixirs.

Musically influenced by the multicultural city of Toronto and extensive global travels, Kudos weaves a celebration of music born of diverse Peoples and Lands into a vibrant tapestry to create his signature sound, something he's calling "50 Shades of Bass."

The "50 Shades of Bass" umbrella offers audiences a sensual and stimulating kaleidoscope of Bass Music, Global Rhythms, and Psychedelic Textures intertwined through Kudos LoKey's unique and innovative production. As a sound sorcerer, Kudos crafts music to remind us of its primordial medicine, to awaken our cosmic hearts, and to inspire spaces for us to pray together with the entirety of our physical being.

As a respected veteran sound engineer and record producer, Snappy Homefry is the wizard behind the curtain, releasing original music and remixes as Kudos LoKey since 2019. Now a vetted leader in his local music communities, Snappy has been mixing and mastering dynamic styles like latin, folk, and techno from a diverse selection of artists in his Toronto-based Playhouse Studio for more than 25 years.

As Kudos LoKey, he has provided direct support to The Desert Dwellers, Andreilien, The Human Experience, Adham Shaikh, Michael Red, Dubmatix and Soohan while also reaching broad audiences at festivals across North America including Beloved, Lucidity, Harvest Festival, Future Forest, Valhalla, Eclipse (Quebec), Evolve (Nova Scotia), and Sonic Springs.

In addition to his self-released work, Kudos LoKey has a remix with Gravitas Recordings in 2022, an original single with High Vibe Records and has official remixes out for Skysia, Dubmatix, Mr. Ours (France), and Tyr Kohout.

DTO is passionate about creating unique multi-sensory experiences through music designed to elevate human consciousness and give back to our global communities through his work with non-profits. DTO performs his live yoga music internationally with world-renowned yogis and yoginis, including Hemalayaa and Cristi Christensen.

3. Respect yourself and one another

4. No Shoes, No Booze

5. Please also refrain from photos, videos, strong scents/perfumes, glitter and shoes on the dance floor.

6. Touch is Sacred ~ Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond.
