Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns to Encinitas this Friday, February 6th with opening Elemental Embodiment workshop guided by Mayumi followed by Ecstatic Dance Journey set by Music Alchemist J Brave

Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore and tap into your true expression.

Come be held by the dance floor, the music and the community, connect non-verbally with yourself and others and tap into the magic of this liberating movement space.

Elemental Embodiment

Mayumi will guide us on a dragon journey through the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and aether. Through intentional, intuitive movement, we will alchemize all that is ready to be transformed, activate the wisdom within, and awaken our wellspring of creative power.

MAYUMI is a Dragon Priestess, Voice Liberation Guide and Multi-Dimensional Artist. She weaves dragon activations, voice alchemy, ancestral wisdom, embodied movement, sound healing and community connection into sacred offerings to awaken authentic soul expression. Through group workshops and 1:1 sessions, she supports people in coming home to themselves, cultivating self-trust and love, and remembering who they truly are.

J Brave is a musical alchemist devoted to inspiring the remembrance of our divine nature through the power of sound and movement. His DJ sets are an invitation into unity, a journey that celebrates the beauty of diversity and the sacred pulse that connects all beings.

Blending Global Bass, World Music, Afro House, and all flavors, J Brave curates experiences that awaken hearts and ignite dance floors around the planet.

With a deep sensitivity to energy and presence, he seamlessly weaves together nostalgic melodies with modern production, creating a bridge between the ancient and the contemporary.

Each set is a unique ceremony, crafted to honor the spirit of the moment, from the mindful flow of Ecstatic Dance gatherings to the high-vibration energy of festival stages.

Closing Sound Journey by Mayumi

Mayumi will weave soulful vocal transmissions, light language, and transcendent melodies to close the container. Her voice serves as a bridge between Heaven and Earth, evoking soul remembrance and inner harmony

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines

1. Move however you wish

2. No talking on the dance floor

3. Respect yourself and one another

4. No Shoes, No Booze

5. Please also refrain from photos, videos, strong scents/perfumes, glitter and shoes on the dance floor.

6. Touch is Sacred ~ Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond.
