Electromancy 101! (7 pm)

Whether you’re already a fan of electricity play, just curious, or even a little terrified, Electromancy 101 will get your sparks flying!

This class will primarily explore the magic of the violet wand. Discover the quack medicine origins and modern day uses of these handheld high frequency generators. You'll learn all about direct, indirect and reverse methods for play, and learn the science behind that signature glowing glass.

Next, we’ll go in depth on body contact devices, which allow you to electrify your own body. Shock others with your hands, mouth, other body parts, or any conductive object you hold! Magically illuminate light bulbs with your touch, opening the door to add spectacle to your sensation play. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a superhero, wizard, or alien abductrix, this form of sensation play is the closest thing to having magic powers you’ll ever experience.

We'll also briefly touch on E-Stim and other direct-current tools for play. Learn how AC and DC currents react differently with the body, and how to tell the difference between these devices. Have you ever wanted to have control over someone else's muscles, or allow someone to control yours? E-Stim might be the kink for you!

In this class, we’ll go over the fascinating history of these devices, important safety information, techniques to get a range of sensations from pleasure to pain, how to add spectacle to your sensation, and recommendations for devices and accessories. Whether you’re a seasoned Jolt Jockey, or a Volt Virgin, this class will leave you saying “Ohm my god!”

Shock Therapy: An Electro & e-Stim Play Party (9 pm)

Jolt Jockeys and Volt Virgins alike, join us for a night of high voltage sensation and spectacle. Discover the true meaning of “Power Exchange” as you close the circuit and watch the sparks fly between you and your partner/s.

Bring your favorite electricity toys to show off, and try some new ones from our self-serve “try it” table. Discover brand new electrical inventions from local kink makers. Explore the vast array of sensations, from pleasure to pain, AC to DC, and Tesla to Edison.

Come early for our Electromancy 101 class at 7pm. Class ticket includes entry to Shock Therapy. Party closing time is at the discretion of Sanctuary staff, and is related to drink sales. We recommend arriving early, and keeping the bar busy if you want to stay late.

Don't be a creep. Consent is mandatory. "No" does not mean "try again later". You should NEVER interrupt a scene, but with electro it is especially important to keep a safe distance, or you might just get a shocking surprise!

Other types of play are welcome, within normal Sanctuary guidelines, and the usual hard points and kink furniture will be available.

SAFETY NOTES: It is not advised to participate in electricity play if you: are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have an electronic or mechanical implant. Remove and set aside any electronic devices to prevent damage. Electricity play is edge play, and death is always a possibility.

STROBE WARNING: Some attendees will be using a Tesla coil device which creates flashes that may cause seizures in some people. Those folks should please do their best to give a strobe warning before using this device.
