Essential Maintenance: Prehab for People Who Tie

Your rope gets conditioned - why not your body?

Tying is a physical practice and, like any physical practice, it comes with wear and tear. From the lingering ache after a long jam to chronic stress on joints and muscles, this work adds up. So let’s talk about prehab: proactive, sustainable care for the bodies that do the tying.

In this workshop, we’ll explore foundational warm-ups, mobility drills, and recovery strategies designed to support your long-term health and comfort as a rope practitioner. Expect a mix of practical exercises and thoughtful discussion, with options for all levels of ability and experience.

While this class is centered on folks who tie, many of the exercises are equally useful for bottoms and switches.
