Perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause aren’t just “a phase”—they can be a full-body recalibration. Hormonal changes may impact arousal, lubrication, orgasm, sleep, mood, skin, stress tolerance, and how safe or desirable you feel in your body. Add in life factors—work stress, caregiving, grief, relationship changes, disability, medications—and intimacy can start to feel like a moving target.
In Evolving Intimacy, we’ll map what’s changing and why, then translate that into real-life strategies. You’ll learn the difference between hormonal stages, common symptoms (and what can intensify them), and evidence-informed options including lifestyle supports, non-hormonal medications, hormonal therapies, and other supportive therapies. We’ll also cover comfort and pleasure tools, pacing, desire renegotiation, and how to communicate your needs to lovers—and your changes to friends/community—so you can get support instead of silence.
You’ll leave with a personal “menu” of next steps, conversation scripts, and a clearer understanding of what you want your intimacy to look like now.
This workshop is for adults experiencing perimenopause/menopause/post-menopause, partners/lovers who want to be supportive, and anyone wanting to understand the midlife intimacy shift.
This workshop is educational and is not a substitute for medical care. You’ll be encouraged to consult a qualified clinician for personalized treatment decisions.
