This class will be held in person at the Folsom Street Community Center at 1286 Folsom street, San Francisco CA.
Taboo refers to what is forbidden or prohibited by societal or cultural norms. For millennia, psychological, cultural, and philosophical discussions have recognized that the transgression of taboos are central to the experience of eroticism. Eroticism is not just about pleasure but also about confronting limits, defying the sacred, and violating societal taboos. BDSM specifically expresses the erotic charge of power, control, and transgression.
Consider your own fantasies. Some of them you have done. Some you hope to do, once you gather the means and courage. Some are so dangerous, illegal or impossible that you can only experience them in your fantasies.
In this class you will have the opportunity to write down and anonymously submit your deepest, darkest, most forbidden fantasies. The instructor will read as many as possible to the class … and construct a phylogeny of the erotic from the taboo. Come. Share anonymously what is most taboo and erotic for you, and hear about the erotic and taboo of others. You may be surprised by what you hear and learn from this class.
SG was introduced to the lovely depravities of the San Francisco leather scene in the late 70s. He identified as a leather faerie until about 12 years ago when he joined and graduated from the first San Francisco Bay Area Journeyman 3 Academy. He was Lead Mentor in the next Academy, and then became its Headmaster as it transitioned to Leather Quest. He has founded leather families and been members of others. He has served and been served by a number of wonderful submissives, slaves, major domos, consorts, pets, boys, bois, girls. In the late 70s and early 80s, he was mentored and taught by those older and more skilled. He began teaching to pay forward his debt to those who had so generously taught him.
