Freakquency

On Saturday, November 8th join us for Freakquency: A Night of All-Black Pleasure and Sensuality. Come through for soulful connection, freaky community, kinky games, sensual pleasure, and sexual play.

Freakquency is a judgment-free, consent-first event centering the sex-positive Black community. To attend, you must have at least one birth parent who is Black* and was perceived and treated as a Black person in the US or other similar country context.

*We define Black folks as people of African descent living across the diaspora who have lived experiences as a racial minority in the United States.

We welcome people representing every sexual orientation, gender expression, and body type, and with all levels of experience - from totally new and curious, to seasoned players. Freakquency is your space to explore, engage, and exhale. Please note this event is for folks aged 25 and up.

Dress Code: Sexy, Liberated, Black, Queer. Whatever makes you feel fine AF.

Timeline:

1. 7:00 pm - Kinky games, vibes, dancing, food
2. 9:00 pm - Doors close, opening circle, party time
3. 2:00 am - Closing circle and strike

Location: Oakland, CA - Location to be released once you purchase your ticket

Vetting: Many of us have been in spaces where we felt judged as not Black enough. As organizers we’ve been there and have no desire to experience it again. Our goal is to create a space that prioritizes our culture, our comfort, and our sensual freedom. The vetting process is one way that we intentionally bring people into our community who share our goals around creating a sexy, pro-Black space.

Step 3: After you’ve been vetted, you’ll receive a unique ticket link that you can use to purchase a ticket. Please do not share your ticket link with anyone.

Discount Tickets for Volunteers

$30 - Pre-Party Setup (Saturday 5pm - 7pm Pre-party)

$30 - Party Tidy Up and Food Support (60 minutes during the party)

$20 - Post-Party Clean up (2 hours)

Health and Safety: We are committed to creating a safe environment for all partygoers. We do this two ways.

1) We ask that you administer a covid rapid antigen test on the day of the party. You can present a time stamped photo of the test you took at home, bring your own covid test to take on site, or buy a covid test at the door. If you will be taking a test on site, please wear a mask when you arrive.

2) If your play will involve fluid exchange, we ask that you get comprehensive STI testing far enough in advance that you have your results in time for the party.

Freakquency is an all-Black group of sex-positive folks that got together to create this event because we were tiredt of the lack of all-Black spaces in the Bay Area play community.
