Getting Started with Rope with Psychokitty, Part 1

Have you seen people pulling out rope for a bondage scene, and it looks fun but overwhelming? This class is perfect for you.

We will talk about how to choose the best rope for particular bondage styles, explore samples of rope materials to feel, and explore the different advantages they offer.

We will work on some fundamental ties that can get you started, like single and double-column ties. And most importantly, the good places on the body to put rope.

If you have your own rope and safety shears, please bring them! There will also be shears onsite available for purchase. The instructor will have limited rope to share for practice, but it is always preferable to practice with the rope you plan to use! If you are coming solo, we will pair you with others, everyone gets to tie.

Ryan PsychoKitty is a performance artist and improv actor, starting at the Annoyance Theater of Improv of Chicago in the late 90s and has performed in New York, San Francisco, London, Kobe, and Osaka, with performance images in Skin Two. He has presented classes at the SF Citadel, Shibaricon, TNG4, Boundless, and others.

He is the host of the Dirty Talk Game Show here in San Francisco, a former host of Shibaricon in Chicago, and is one of the founders of Wicked Grounds.
