Come join us for a relaxing afternoon of gong sound healing and hot tub soaking to celebrate Lammas
Beloveds!
You are invited to join us in a special gathering for a Lammas-oriented Gong Sound bath.
Lammas is the earth-based holiday that's halfway between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox. This holiday marks the time of the new harvest and abundant fruition. It is a hot, lazy, delicious time of the year. Bees buzz in the heat of the day, the air is still, and the force of the sun remains strong, even though its sway over the earth is slowly diminishing day by day. The Wheel of the Year begins to shift from growing time to harvest time. Corn and grains, blackberries, figs, and more are starting to drop their fruit as we pick and store earthy abundance for the upcoming colder seasons.
The gong can be used as a magical portal to channel the energies of the upcoming season.
THE GONG: The vibrations of the gong create the space for self-healing and transformation. The intricate overtones and gentle resonance of the gong guide our brainwaves into harmony, shifting them from the beta state (normal waking consciousness) to the lower alpha and theta states (where the mind relaxes and restores), eventually leading to a deeply calming meditative state (delta). The gong will balance the body as well as the chakras and the auric field, fostering overall well-being and inner harmony.
We will begin with a brief intro about this holiday and share about the gong, and then make ourselves comfortable by all lying down in a large, beautiful, living room...filled with pillows, plants, and fairy magic. We’ll enter the gong’s magical space, staying connected to our bodies and spirits until the end. Afterwards, we will have a potluck dinner to ground and nourish our bodies, and the hot and cold tubs in the backyard will become available.
This event will be held in a private home in El Cerrito, CA. You will be given the address after registering with Eventbrite and then securing your ticket.
The energy exchange for this event as a sliding scale $20-$60.No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please reach out to us if you would like to attend and cannot afford payment at this time.
Please bring a healthy potluck item, your own non-glass water bottle, and a towel if you wish to soak afterward.
We are greatly looking forward to seeing you there!
