Meditating on your own is step one in the practice of True Meditation. The second step is finding a good teacher and a great “sangha” or community. Practicing in community is a whole different experience! This is more than yoga meditation – this is learning to calm your mind, your system and most importantly, begin to access a higher state of consciousness that will tamper anxiety and depression and increase ease, peace and joy in everyday life. When we sit with others, the collective energy serves as a catalyst to achieving higher energetic states, accessing collective wisdom and learning from a skilled teacher.
This class is scheduled just before sleep, after the kids are settled or the workday is complete. Have dinner, close down the house and come for a 1-hour class, then climb into bed and see what shifts.
