Grown N' Thirsty: Folsom Foreplay Edition!

Grown N' Thirsty is a sexy, sweaty dance party for the 30+ queers, trans bbs, NBs, dykes, dolls, femmes, bi, pan, lesbians, WLWs, genderqueers, and our community.

This time Grown N' Thirsty is getting even thirstier: it's Folsom Fair season, baby! This party isn't just for the kinky among us, though. It's an excuse for any queer over 30 to feel cute and party before the sun goes down. Think of it as ⛓ kink flavored ⛓, ya know?

If you're new here (hi!):

  1. The first rule of Grown N' Thirsty: The only music we play is the shit that makes you shake your ass. 2000s Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Afrobeats, etc.
  2. The second rule of Grown N' Thirsty: We act as grown as we are! On the dance floor, in the bathroom, at the bar. We celebrate, make friends, cruise, rest, and have grace with each other because we need each other to get free.

What to expect:

  1. dj dopaminna & CLR Jamz, playing nuthin' but the muthafuckin' hits
  2. So. Many. Cuties.
  3. A missed connections board for you shy hotties to show us your game
  4. Hot queers shamelessly flagging
  5. Plenty of room to dance and lots of sturdy seating
  6. Lots of hot hot hot GnT merch & amazing pottery for sale, donated by @mqtpottery
  7. Short lines, cuz we plan for that ish
  8. A coat check!
  9. A cute run in with your ex & their new polycule, your date's therapist, your coffee shop crush, your fruity neighbor, and everyone else you know

Accessibility: The event is entirely outdoors, but the bar is inside (with lots of ventilation as one wall is entirely open). All areas are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. There are no stairs. There is very slight uneven ground in some areas. Bathrooms are ADA compliant, both indoor and outdoor options. Seating options will include wood benches, metal chairs, and sturdy plastic adirondacks. We request everyone come with no to low scents.

Masks are not required. There will be a masked-only seating area.

This time we are fundraising for Stop Gaza Starvation and MECA.
