About Our Campaign

Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!

For over two decades, Mission Control has been a second home for many. It’s been a doorway into new worlds — a place where people have found community, discovered self-expression, explored their desires, and, for many, met their chosen family.

Today, Mission Control stands at a turning point — and we need your help.

The owner of our beloved building has decided to sell and we bought the building! For the first time ever, Mission Control has a permanent home for generations to come!

Ownership means

Securing the future of a vital, inclusive community space

Never again vulnerable to rent hikes or losing our home.

Making long-needed improvements

A thriving nonprofit, empowering art, sexuality, and community growth.

Ensuring that Mission Control remains a refuge for all who need it

But we need your help — now.

We already have several members of our community who are private lenders for this purchase. There is room for an additional lender to complete the financing package. If you are a Mission Control member with experience with private lending — or seek a stable, community-centered investment with interest returns — we would love to connect, please email us.

Our Goal

We aim to raise 50k to cover capital improvements and secure this purchase. Every dollar you contribute moves us closer to owning our space and safeguarding our community.

Termite and dry rot treatment

New, safer staircase to the parlor

Closing costs, inspections, and earnest money

Establishing a $20–30K emergency reserve fund to ensure Mission Control’s financial stability

Stretch Goals — Building a Better Mission Control

Eliminate old loans to free up cash flow and secure our financial future

Install a proper foundation to stabilize and expand usable space

Build an accessible ramp or lift to the cottage, increasing mobility access

Renovate bathrooms to be fully accessible and welcoming to all bodies

Level uneven floors to improve safety and comfort throughout the building
