Explore how colonization shapes sexuality, unpack the role of sexual healing in community, and discuss ways for liberation
Explore how colonization shapes our understanding of sexuality, unpack the role of sexual healing in community, and discuss ways to liberate our relationship with sex from oppressive systems while centering anti-racism, anti-capitalism, and intersectionality.
In this workshop, we will:
đź’‹reflect on the pervasive ways colonization has impacted our understanding and experiences of sexuality
đź’‹ unpack the role of sexual healing containers in community as we unlearn shame and center bodily autonomy
đź’‹discuss the multifaceted ways we can liberate our relationship with sex from oppressive systems
This event will also include group discussion on the impact of identity and intersectionality on these topics, as well as how we can center the values of anti-racism, anti-capitalism and the dismantling of white supremacy through our relationship with ourselves, each other and society at large.
