Intro to Edging
About the class
This session will explore edging your partner, both as a concept outside of scenes to build tension and attraction, as well as methods and best practices to employ within scenes. Specific focus will be on edging in the context of BDSM scenes. We will explore
- Combining edging with other components
- Sessions where edge-maintenance is the primary goal
- Maintaining over longer durations, with a focus either on prolonged denial or sustained forced climaxes
- Specific techniques and toys (for partners with all genital arrangements) to escalate, maintain and develop energy, either to motivate behavior/compliance or achieve leg-shaking, back arching, neighbor-disturbing orgasms.
This session is primarily presentation based, with opportunity for discussion, Q&A, and to look at a range of toys and equipment that can be used for edging purposes.
Who should attend: this class is open to everyone, of all experience levels. We welcome all genders, orientations, and relationship structures.
About the Instructor:
Anthony is a former professional Dom, working primarily with couples to orchestrate BDSM scenes and teach safe play practices. What attracts him to BDSM is the psychology behind play and how the emotional connects to the physical. Active in the scene since his early 20s, he’s explored in and outside of the US and maintains a beginner’s mind as he continues to learn and expand his horizons. Outside of playtime, he is a self-professed nerd, who is an avid student of history, spirituality, geopolitics, art & the general human condition.
