Experience the intimacy of aggression through controlled and intentional movement.
Fan of struggle play? Looking for an excuse to get sweaty with your partner? Want to make your movement in bed feel more fluid? As adults, we won't often get permission to roughhouse as we once did in our youths. Wrestling or Playfighting is a way of taking this fun sport to a safe and sexy place.
You don't have to be Dom, sub, kinky, or experienced for this beginner-level class. As featured in the New York Post, Business Insider, Vice, and AMNY, Playfighting class is less about brute force and more about experiencing that intimacy of aggression.
We always change up some of the combo's every playfighting class, so while we cover some of the same basics like holds and power positions, expect to learn something new each time!
What to expect:
Learn various holds, positions, maneuvers, and most importantly safety to use during play.
No WWE moves here. In this class, you will learn basic Jui Jitsu-inspired maneuvers to properly control and contain your partner. Switch roles and take turns "fighting" for top. Whether you are smaller, bigger, or the same size as your person - we will help show you the best ways to utilize your bodily realities to your advantage.
Who should attend
All gender identities, sexual orientation, and relationship types. You are welcome to come with a parter(s) or come solo.
What to wear
Activewear preferred or non-loose fitting clothing. Plan to remove any belts, watches, sharp jewelry, or other things that can scratch folks. Feel free to bring a change of clothes in case you get sweaty!
