Hypno Night is a skill share for kinksters interested in learning, exploring, or practicing erotic hypnosis.

Welcome to Hypno Night!

Hypno Night is a skill share designed to bring together kinksters with an interest in erotic hypnosis. No experience is required, all you need is a vague interest in hypnosis!

This event is open to people of all skill levels and you are encouraged to learn about hypnosis through class/demonstrations and structured practice/play. This event is primarily a skill share, so feel free to explore at your own pace! A demonstration/class will be provided at the beginning of the event, so come and learn about hypnosis! Below is a rough outline of tonight's event:

1. 1 hour(s): Hypnokink 101 class presented by trancefeminine (she/they) and Cora Adair (any/all).
2. 2 hour(s): Guided hypnokink practice & Unstructured Skill Share. Also socializing!

Hypnokink 101:

This workshop is designed to provide a toolbox for getting started (and some context) to participants who are new to hypnokink. By the end of this class and workshop, attendees will begin to develop a personal risk profile, successfully negotiate scene ideas involving hypnosis, and gain the tools to practice hypnotic techniques and integrate them into their existing play. Presenters will introduce useful concepts and vocabulary, demonstrate techniques on one another and audience volunteers, and then provide structured opportunities for participants to process and practice what they have learned. Safety considerations, ethical considerations, and best practices are discussed and demonstrated throughout the course.

After the class, the presenters will be available throughout the night for guided practice. Please feel free to ask them any questions and practice what you've learned!

Unstructured Skill Share:

After the class, the floor will also be open to unstructured play. Grab a spot with your favorite hypnotist/subject and practice at your own pace! This space is a safe place for turning your hypnosis fantasies into a reality. Non-hypnosis kink play is allowed at this event, so get creative!

Please note that explicit sexual play is not allowed. This means penetrative sex of any form including PIV, fingering, and anal is prohibited.

About NY Trance-It:

NY Trance-it is NYC's newest home for hypnosis. Come join us in creating a new community where we can all explore hypnokink together! Our short-term goal is to host monthly hypnokink events on a consistent day every month. We also hope to host a munch every month in order to build up the NYC hypnokink community. Our long-term goal is to create a vibrant and active hypnokink community for meeting like-minded individuals and learning from one-another.

About Your Instructors:

Bio: trancefeminine (she/they)

A wanderer, storyteller, and performer of many kinds, trancefeminine delights in making moments feel impossible and punctuating beauty with pain. A practitioner of BDSM for more than a decade and intentional practitioner of hypnokink for the better part of 3 years, trancefeminine seeks to bring thoughtfully constructed educational experiences to hypnokinksters of all backgrounds. trancefeminine hopes to play their part helping the hypnokink community continue to blossom as a home for trans kinksters by teaching material rooted in their experience as a nonbinary plural trans femme who has lived lots of life on both sides of the pocketwatch and by lifting up the expertise of other trans hypnokinksters. Their specialties include indirect and covert techniques, amnesia, long-term conditioning, physical and emotional sadomasochism, genderfuckery, and they are always interested in a fascinating conversation and genuine curiosity about hypnosis technique and theory.

Bio: Cora Adair (any pronouns)

A lifelong learner, educator, and hedonist, Cora thoughtfully and avidly collects and shares experiences with everyone they can. After 15 years of practicing hypnosis, 10 years collecting and practicing kinks, and 5 years as a professional educator, they’re wading further into kink education and community leadership roles, including with the Chicago Mesmer erotic hypnosis group. As much as they love to throw themself into new experiences, they strive for balance in all things– intense experiences with nuanced consent, generational knowledge with innovative models and approaches, and restorative practices with community accountability.

You should bring an open (and possibly empty) mind. If you'd like to take notes during the Hypnokink 101 class, bring a pencil and paper!

This is a skill share / hypnosis play event, so we want you to feel sexy and comfortable! You are free to wear as much or as little as you're comfort. Nudity is allowed, but we politely ask that you keep your frontal bits covered when you aren't playing.

FAQ: any skill pre-requisites? (i.e., is this for beginners, advanced, everyone?)

This skill share is for everyone! If you have a vague interest in hypnosis, this is the place to be. The class will be a Hypnokink 101, so it's great for those looking to learn about hypnosis.

FAQ: can I attend solo, or do I need to come with a partner?

You can come by yourself or bring a partner!
