Embodied connection temple party, where you can fall in love with yourself.

Embodied Connections Temple

A Sacred Valentine’s Eve Gathering • Houston

It’s only when we slow down enough to feel what’s actually here that Love can meet us.

The day before Valentine’s Day, we gather in Houston for a special Embodied Connections Temple devoted to love, presence, and connection. Not the Hallmark kind. Not the getting it right kind. But the kind you feel in your body when you stop trying and start listening.

This evening is a celebration of love in all its forms. Romantic. Platonic. Communal. Self-directed. A space to honor devotion, curiosity, tenderness, and the aliveness that emerges when we are fully present with ourselves and one another.

So often when we turn toward Love, everything that’s been in the way shows up first. Old stories. Tender places. Longings we haven’t named yet. This Temple is an invitation to meet all of that with curiosity, care, and choice.

Opening the Night

We’ll begin with guided embodied connection exercises designed to gently open the space and help everyone arrive together. These practices support presence, attunement, and nervous-system settling, creating a foundation of safety and trust for the evening ahead.

You’re welcome to do the exercises with one partner and go deeper together, or to explore them with multiple partners, allowing different people to reflect different parts of you. Through eye contact, breath, movement, sensation, and attuned touch, each connection becomes a mirror.

Touch is available, optional, and consent-led.

There is no pressure to engage in any particular way.

Plan to fall a little bit in love with everyone you meet.

And by the end of the evening, our deepest intention is that you fall even more in love with yourself.

What Is a Temple / Play Party?

In short, it means you get to choose.

For us, “sacred” isn’t about rules or rigidity. It’s anything that slows us down and deepens our experience of being alive. Our bodies are vessels of life force and connection, meant to feel, move, play, and explore intimacy in many ways.

This is an embodied connection space where you are invited to co-create what genuinely nourishes your soul.

Participation can look like many things. You might engage actively. You might watch. You might rest. Voyeurs are just as welcome as those who want to explore more directly.

There is no pressure to do anything. Ever.

This is a consent-based environment where participants are encouraged to explore themselves and connection with others in ways that are stimulating, nurturing, exciting, safe, and fun.

Who This Is For

You value consent, communication, and self-responsibility.

You have some awareness of your wants and boundaries and are willing to name them, or you’re curious and committed to learning. You care about how your presence impacts others and treat yourself and the people around you with respect and kindness.

If you’re thinking,

“I’d love to come, but I don’t want to play,”

please come anyway.

This is a pressure-free space. You are welcome to enjoy the company, the atmosphere, and the energy, and you may shift or pause your participation at any time.

Our biggest request is that you arrive with a fun-loving, warm, caring, open-minded, generous, thoughtful, compassionate, non-judgmental attitude and that you conduct yourself with the highest level of integrity possible.

This will be a relaxed, playful, chill evening.

Come relax.

Come connect.

Come play.

Come watch.

Time

Doors open at 7:00 PM and lock promptly at 7:30 PM.

Please arrive on time.

It is essential that everyone is present for the Opening Circle. Once the doors are locked, no one will be admitted. This helps preserve safety, trust, and coherence in the space.

The Opening Circle is where we land together. We introduce ourselves, set shared agreements, name boundaries and relationship considerations others should know about, and settle into our bodies so connection can unfold naturally.

There will be a Closing Circle at midnight to gently bring the evening to completion and support integration.

If you are unavoidably running late, please text Monique directly. Otherwise, please plan to arrive on time.

What to Bring

Bring whatever food and non-alcoholic drinks you’d like for the evening.

Please no drugs or alcohol. We value presence, clarity, and embodied connection.

Wear whatever helps you feel comfortable, expressive, and at home in your body. This might be cozy lounge wear, something sensual or playful, something elegant, or simply your favorite everyday clothes. There is no dress code beyond comfort and consent.

If you enjoy toys or accessories, bring them! ;) Please also bring any protection or safer-play items you personally need to feel safe and resourced.

Most importantly, bring a playful attitude, an open heart, and respect for yourself and others.

Inclusion & Belonging

All genders, bodies, and orientations are welcome.

We especially welcome trans, queer, and gender-expansive folks and actively work to challenge heteronormative patterns through our language, agreements, and how we show up with care for one another.

Come exactly as you are.
