We're meeting at house "Harmony Place"!
898 Sawtelle Ave, San Diego, CA 92114
Obviously compassion is a worthy aim for us to strive for, but if it's so obviously good, why do so many people seem to struggle to do it? If so many people struggle to do it, is it possible that we're struggling with it ourselves more often than we realize? How do we actually improve at the skill of thinking of others?
Come join us this week to learn more about the Aretéan Aim of Compassion, and how to develop better habits of it! We'll also sing together as a community, have some great snacks, listen to inspiring messages, and best of all get to spend time with other people who are trying to be their best selves!
Our doors open at 12:30pm for some light food and socializing, and then our meeting starts promptly at 1pm.
We also have a more casual follow-on meeting after the main meeting. We'll discuss what Aretéanism is and how it is practiced in more technical detail; it's a great way to learn more about our organization and mission! Feel free to stay, or to show up separately for this meeting at 2:15pm if you're interested!
