About

REX is a collaborative space to explore our hypnokink from an intermediate/advanced perspective (but all are welcome). It's a combination of discussion topics and time spent on demos and hands-on practice. We often have pre-nominated topics for each meeting mentioned on our Discord server, and everyone is *very* encouraged to nominate more things at the meeting itself.

Timing

We meet once a month on every SECOND SUNDAY!

Sometimes these events go up late, but we all use the ~same calendar~ so you can figure out when the next one is happening without these. In the rare event that one isn't happening, we'll make it very clear on both Discord and the Fet group.

Location

We are located at 1286 Folsom Street, at the Folsom Street Community Center. Take the stairs on the right side. Please note: currently, in this space, we are up a flight of stairs, not wheelchair-accessible.

Discord server and Fet group

Please join us here. The Fet group + events are used primarily for community visibility, but our "hub" is Discord. It's not necessary to join either to come to REX!

The Fet group more or less exists only to link to these events.

Who's invited?

Everyone, especially if you consider yourself an intermediate or advanced hypnotist or hypnotee. "Intermediate" means you know the basics, you've done some trances, and you want to hone your craft with like-minded hypnokinksters.

Beginners, we're not leaving you behind!

ALL experience levels are welcome at REX. We won't be covering intro-level topics, and may use jargon, but realistically you'll be able to follow conversation and have a good time. Reach out for info on local 101 sessions.

Hosts

CosmicLatte has been doing hypno since 2019 after realizing that it doesn't have to be difficult and scary (unless you want it to be). He's a community leader, artist, engineer, and goofball.

Persuasive Punk (aka AJ, she/her) has been a part of the San Francisco kinky hypno community since 2019, but has been fascinated by hypnosis far longer. She is equally interested in the intellectual ideas behind trance and how belief can create realistic phenomena and by (ethically) bending helpless cute boys to her will.
