Join us for a Saturday afternoon of creative expression through shibari: Whether by illustrating with your chosen medium or stepping into the spotlight as the subject!

Our featured tying pair, @mooooo & @Littleluv_, will pose as artistic muses for three 30-minute sessions during the rope jam. We’ll also have extra tying stations for anyone who wants to step into the spotlight themselves.

Tables and mats will be arranged around the tying stations so you may choose the angle and perspective that speaks to you the most. We’ll have music to help the creative juice flowing, also snacks and tea to keep you refreshed.

At the end of the jam, we'd love to invite everyone to show and share our creations together!

Event: Illustrate — Life Drawing & Rope Jam

Date: 18 Oct 2025 (Saturday)

Time: 2pm - 5pm

Location: San Jose Downtown

Doors open at 1:50pm, and close at 2:50pm.

Dress code: Casual & creative, make sure it is something you don't mind getting your paint on ;) If you plan to tie/be tied, please dress for rope.

Tickets: $15 - $35. Please pay at the level that you can comfortably afford. Your support is appreciated and helps us keep serving jams! 🙌🏻

What should you bring?

Bring along your favorite medium and art supplies. If you like, you can also pack a drawing board, easel, or other setup that makes you comfortable. You may also bring your rope, cutting tools and/or suspension gear if you would like to be illustrated!

And of course don’t forget your water bottle to stay hydrated, plus any aftercare items you might need!

We will set up tables, mats, tying stations, snacks & drinks! We will also have limited amount of art supplies and loaner rope available.

Bring your own mats if you prefer them!

House Rules

1. Consent: Ask before touch. That goes to other people's body and belongings.
2. Respect: It's is likely that we all learned and tied in different styles. Please be respectful and do not criticize other's work unless your opinions is asked.
3. Inclusive: All genders, sexualities, races, body types, and skill levels are welcome. There is zero tolerance for hate speech and discrimination.
4. Photo & Recording is not allowed. You may only capture those delicious moments with your art mediums!
5. Discreet: The exact address will be shared exclusively through the confirmation email. Please do not share the address with anyone else.
6. Be Responsible: Alcoholic drinks, cannabis and other recreational subtle are not allowed. Please be responsible and only participle when you are sober.
7. Neck rope, choking, and intense breath play are not allowed.
8. Sexual play such as PIV, PIA and Oral sex are not allowed.
9. Please be considerate and clean up after yourself.
10. Respect others' space and do not interrupt the scene and aftercare. If you have something important to ask/notify someone who's in a scene, always approach the Top first with a quiet voice and polite manner.

Covid & Health Policy

1. Vaccination is a must. You are considered fully vaccinated two weeks or more after receiving the final dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or two weeks or more after receiving a single-dose vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization.
2. Mask Options: We will have surgical masks and some N95 masks available. Please ask our volunteers at the check-in station if you need them.
3. Use our hand sanitizers! They are available at cleaning supply stations around the play space, near the food in the social area, and at the waiver table during check-in.
4. If you feel sick, stay home. We will gladly give you a full refund OR a future party credit.
